Job Specifications
We are looking for Professional Nurses for our client in the mining industry based in Northern Cape.
– Must have experience in the mining industry.
– Must be available for standby on weekends as per rotation and possible public holidays as well.
Job specification and overall duties to be discussed.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing (NQF level 7) and Registered with South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
- Dispensing License (Advantageous).
- Registered as a community health nurse (Advantageous).
- Valid Driver’s license – code 08.
- 2+ years’ experience in Infection Control, TB, HIV, Surgical Wards and Theatre.
- In-depth ward management experience with solid knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control.
- Knowledge of nursing processes, procedures and techniques and a good understanding of the health care policies and pandemic guidelines.
- Understanding of safety management, behavioural safety and risk management framework, procedures and systems.
- Computer Skills – (MS Office).
